On the slope of l’Aulnaye to the south of Nantes the grapes take on a little more colour. This vintage was harvested late and only the grapes with the highest sugar concentration were selected. After a slow fermentation this vintage reveals its perfumes and unexplored flavours.
It is a unique creation born out of Lieubeau’s passion for the terroir of Nantes and his favourite grape, the ‘Melon de Bourgogne’. New flavours, new harmonies... unleash your culinary creativity. Serve this wine very chilled; its elegance and smoothness are a fitting accompaniment to your aperitifs, foies gras and desserts. On the nose you will discover hints of almonds, hazel nuts, eucalyptus and dried apricots with a spiciness brought about by its time in oak barrels. Its fine volume balanced by its freshness and good length in the mouth will certainly please you !
Produced in limited quantities and dependent on specific climatic conditions, the harvesting of the over-ripe grapes being impossible in some years, this is an exceptional wine.
