Cidre de Prestige, selected since 1997 by the cellarman at the Elysée Palace, may be compared to late harvested wines, since the apples from the orchards of Eric Baron are pressed as late as January to make a product of richness and an exceptional cider. It contains the following varieties of apple, “Dous Moën”, “Marie Menard”, “Kroc’hen Ki” (Dog’s Skin). Aged in oak casks and developing a slight fizz in the bottle, this is a keeping cider which may be stored for three years.
